Description:
Fourteen is a large stainless steel sculpture of a silicon molecule located in the heart of Silicon Valley. The name comes from silicon’s atomic number, 14. The artwork recognizes William Shockley’s invention of the silicon transistor and the beginning of the computer industry that helped shape the region.

I collaborated with Jagged Edge Metal Art on the fabrication and installation process of this large-scale public sculpture, assisting with fabrication coordination and on-site installation.
