Description:
Standing 15 feet tall, Between the Toes is recognized as the world’s largest pair of flip flops. Installed at the North Natomas Community Center and Aquatics Complex, the sculpture brings a playful and welcoming presence to the site, encouraging gathering, relaxation, and a sense of place.
In collaboration with Jagged Edge Metal Art, I developed the 2D and 3D design concepts, coordinated with project stakeholders, and participated in both fabrication and installation. The large scale structure balances humor with durability, transforming an everyday object into a bold civic landmark.
